NASAMA RESORT is located just 10 minutes from Port Vila town centre. It comprises of high quality spacious, fully furnished, self-contained beachfront apartments with stunning ocean views. Its on-site restaurant has established a reputation for its delicious food and ambience. Both the resort and restaurant are well known for their friendly, attentive staff.
Nasama Resort is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Resort Manager to oversee and direct their Resort operations.
The successful applicant will have relevant experience and a thorough knowledge of hospitality systems particularly in the following areas:
OPERATIONS •Ensure positive customer experiences by interacting with guests, maintaining high-quality facilities and remedying problems quickly. •Manage daily operations of front desk, reservations, housekeeping, maintenance, gardeners, security, accounts and restaurant. •Manage operational costs of Resort through efficient purchasing and stock control.
MARKETING & SALES, RESERVATIONS & GUEST RELATIONS •Proficient operational knowledge of Property Management System / Channel Manager / Online travel agent extranets: implementation and management of the room types, rates, specials, availability and allotment to maximize the occupancy and room revenue. •Define and implement the rate strategy and marketing plan based on market research and current benchmark. Analyse results with an aim towards increasing occupancy at the Resort. •Negotiate contracts with international booking engines, travel agents, airlines, social and print media; implement yearly contracts/objectives; increase visibility of the resort, ensure best positioning of the resort based on the search results of each partner, review the policy & conditions of the resort, negotiate the best prices for each wholesaler’s brochure. •Manage search engine optimization and internet marketing, improve and update the Resort’s website: knowledge of WordPress or similar is an advantage. •Manage social media optimization.
HUMAN RESOURCES •Train, supervise, motivate, discipline and monitor the performance of all employees in accordance with the Vanuatu Employment Act and the company policy.
